From the athletes to the engineers, designers, operators, staff, journalists, commentators and others, we are creating a community where you can connect, learn, share and participate.
WindTunnel is tapping into the magic, allure, rugged elegance, and style that set these activities and participants apart from the ordinary, creating community and products for those who truly appreciate performance and style. Created by David Wiener, his longtime involvement with these three sports, Porsche, Ferrari, the U.S. Ski Team and beyond, brings real-world experience, passion, and a life of creativity to this unique brand.

David Wiener has a lifetime connection with motorsports, yacht racing, ski racing, F1, America’s Cup, and those who 'live’ it. David’s career designing, engineering, marketing and selling innovative and elegant products and fashion around the globe has earned international press and awards. His work has been supported by Ferrari, Porsche, Mumm yachts, Salomon, Fischer, Vuarnet, Campagnolo and Nike.
Created from a selection of fine fabrics with ties to these three forms of racing, along with trims, embroidery and unique custom detailing, WindTunnel luxury lifestyle fashion captures the romance and excitement found at the pinnacle of sport. In creating WindTunnel, David Wiener has combined his lifelong passion and involvement in motorsports, yacht racing and ski racing, with his long history of iconic design, to realize this vision of what lovers of these sports want to say about themselves and their style.

David has built a 40-year career on designing and producing a wide variety of high profile fashion, furniture, cars, aircraft, bikes, audio, electronics, apps and more. His true love has always been Formula One and his work has used F1 as a guide for all of the design, technology and engineering that take shape in his David Wiener Ventures (DWV) studios. Whether working with fabrics, composites or exotic metals, David sees them all as materials to be sculpted into elegant and timeless icons that can be used daily, and handed down – never discarded. This is the goal of true sustainability: to make objects that truly last and never grow old.
